Mr. Owens devotes his practice solely to representing plaintiffs in private damage and wrongful demise claims. His primary awareness is automobile/tractor-trailer injuries, canine bites, slip/journey and falls, scientific malpractice, injuries from dangerous merchandise, activity accidents and nursing home abuse.
Before joining forces with Mr. Mulherin to open Owens & Mulherin in 2001, Mr. Owens worked for Bouhan, Williams and Levy, LLP, from 1986 to 2000 in civil litigation. Mr. Owens is the former President of the Savannah Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Owens and his wife stay in Savannah, Georgia and raised their kids in Savannah. Mr. Owens is an avid bicycle rider and loves animals. Thus, he has constantly been interested by representing cyclists who've been struck via automobiles and those who've been bitten by using dogs which might be either no longer on a leash or are not constrained to their backyard.
