Wendy A. Mara attended Stetson University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993
Ms. Mara taught language arts in excessive faculty for 13 years. While coaching complete time, she earned her MBA degree from the University of Central Florida in 2006. Deciding to pursue a felony career, she entered law faculty at Florida Coastal School of Law in which she graduated inside the pinnacle 10 percent of her class. While in law college, she turned into a coaching and research assistant, earned the Dean’s Certificate for Pro Bono Work and became an award triumphing oralist for the Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
Following graduation from law school, she became admitted to the Florida Bar in 2009 and entered the personal exercise of law inside the Ormond Beach-Volusia and Flagler County area.
Ms. Mara’s regulation practice is focused on probate, circle of relatives law, guardianship, estate making plans, and Medicaid Planning.
During her criminal career, she has been identified by means of her peers as a pacesetter in the career. She is a former treasurer and beyond president of the Volusia-Flagler Association for Women Lawyers being venerated in 2015 with their Women of the Year Award for her work on behalf of ladies and kids.
Ms. Mara is a former treasurer, secretary, and past president and modern Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Volusia County Bar Association. Outside of the criminal career, she is an energetic leader in her network, concerned in many activities and agencies. She is a former director of the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, winner of the 2013 Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce Leadership Award, and former Chairperson of the PACE Center for Girls, Volusia-Flagler. Ms. Mara is a den chief for Cub Scout Pack 3074, and she or he enjoys volunteering for Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida and Council on Aging wherein she donates her time to offer pro bono criminal help to low earnings people.
