Mr. Asbury is an Ivy League grad (Penn/Wharton), published legal scholar, lecturer, former nation healthcare prosecutor (AHCA), and a regulation school professor with wide criminal and corporate experience spanning over 15 years. His exercise emphasis is targeted on enterprise law and consulting, agreement compliance, administrative regulation with an emphasis on representing healthcare centers, drafting and negotiating business and contract files, estate making plans and probate, and litigation of wills, trusts and estates.
Prior to re-coming into private exercise, Tom Asbury was the regulatory compliance counsel for WellCare, a Fortune 500 business enterprise (NYSE: WCG). He supplied in-house legal recommendation and evaluation on diverse regulatory and compliance subjects regarding federal and state healthcare legal guidelines, OIG requirements, WellCare’s Corporate Integrity Agreement, FWA, internal investigations, HIPAA, and changed into a member of Global Policy & Procedures Committee.
Tom has also been a lecturer for the National Business Institute, served on numerous forums of non-earnings organizations, participated in Wharton and Penn Alumni companies, and is a member of the Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Business and Administrative regulation sections of the Florida Bar.
