Stephen has traditionally represented customers in a wide range of civil, business litigation subjects. He changed into born in New Jersey, raised in Wilmington, Delaware, attended university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Wharton School of Business on the University of Pennsylvania, and went on to attain his juris doctoris from New York University School of Law in 1995, and then, he remained and practiced in New York for 10 years at such global corporations as Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy and Morrison & Foerster. Stephen moved to Hawai‘i in 2005 and joined the firm of Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing, in which he practiced as a business litigator focusing on complicated business topics till 2012. After a short stint as a solo practitioner, Stephen joined Bickerton Law Group LLLP as of recommend in January 2014, and have become a companion in January 2019.
Stephen is proud to have represented an array of customers, from people and small “mother-and-pop” organizations to massive businesses and global economic establishments, in complicated, civil litigation and agreement dispute matters. Stephen has seemed in federal, state and local courts on matters inclusive of but no longer restricted to, bringing and defending claims beneath the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act, Truth in Lending Act, Consumer Leasing Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act, and claims against resorts beneath Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act, in addition to representing individuals in connection with owners’ association and rental board disputes, trust matters, real property tax appeals, contested country and IRS audits, disputes regarding Deposit Receipt Offer Agreements and numerous other styles of settlement dispute.
