Mr. Karns was previously a Captain on active obligation in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General s Corps in which he acquired the Parachutist Badge, the U.S. Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. Subsequent to lively duty, he persisted his carrier in the U.S. Army Reserves in which he was promoted to Major and served as a Senior Defense Counsel and acquired an Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Karns finished his reserve duty in 2005.
