Scott is a Grand Rapids local. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Chicago in 2000 and his regulation diploma from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2004. He was in private practice for some of years earlier than commissioning into the USA Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps in 2009. He served on lively duty inside the United States Army Airborne, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, earlier than he transferred to Fort Stewart, Georgia, to serve as a tribulation defense counsel. At Fort Stewart, he advised loads of Soldiers in various criminal and administrative topics and attempted severa courts-martial, including a nationally-publicized murder case. In 2014, he was honorably discharged and lower back to west Michigan to renew non-public practice. His navy awards and badges consist of the Army Commendation Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Parachutist Badge, and units of overseas leap wings. Scott practices within the areas crook defense, civil litigation, and army and veterans law. He is worried with the West Michigan Veterans Coalition and is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. He remains active inside the United States Army Reserve, serving as a Judge Advocate within the 16th Legal Operations Detachment. He lives in Grand Rapids along with his wife and 3 sons and attends Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. In his spare time, he enjoys being together with his family and writing fiction.
