Ms. Hattaway started her career in litigation representing massive publicly held agencies in complicated commercial enterprise disputes. She has revel in in both federal and nation courts. Her practice has blanketed civil rights litigation, employment regulation, real assets litigation, franchise negotiations, in addition to enterprise litigation. Most lately, Ms. Hattaway has centered on helping customers with strategic business planning: drafting operating agreements, drafting and enhancing sales contracts, negotiating contracts and advising agencies, inclusive of multi-area of expertise medical institution, person physicians, pharmacology studies experts, new franchisees, increasing family-owned enterprises, and layout startups.
Ms. Hattaway is a Commissioner of the Canaveral Port Authority. She become elected in November 2019 and sworn in December 6, 2019. She is presently serving a four-12 months time period. Most currently Ms. Hattaway based a Junior Port Ambassador Program to offer vicinity teenagers with task possibility schooling and group of workers improvement.
Ms. Hattaway is a graduate/player in LEAD Brevard (2014) and WeVenture’s ATHENA NextGen Women’s Leadership Program (2017). She is a member of the Board of Directors for LEAD Brevard and is a member of the Brevard County Civilian/Military Council. She believes strongly in volunteer paintings and has contributed to her local groups through such companies as Brevard Public Schools, Literacy for Adults in Brevard, LEAD Brevard, Brevard Art Museum Council of 100, Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS), Florida Supreme Court Justice Teaching Program, and 2-1-1 Brevard.
