Born in Kentucky, Mr. Rankin became raised in a suburb of Richmond, Virginia and acquired his Bachelor’s Degree, with honors, from James Madison University. After too many bloodless winters, Robert decided to move west to sunny southern California, in which he attended law faculty. In his spare time, Robert enjoys spending time with family and friends, trekking, and surfing. He is also devoted to a couple of animal welfare charities around the world.
