He also performed varsity baseball and pitched on the 1977 group that reached the finals of the Division II College World Series. He attended Stetson College of Law and graduated in 1982. Upon graduation he universal a role as an Assistant State Lawyer in Pinellas County Florida, and persisted in that function until 1997 when he entered personal exercise with the Clearwater, Fl regulation workplace Tew, Zinober,Barnes, Zimmet & Unice. He remained their till 2001 whilst he joined as a accomplice inside the corporation, Zimmet, Unice, Salzman & Heyman, PA.
