Richard Travis is dedicated to offering thorough, powerful, compassionate criminal representation to all of his customers. Over the 23 years of practicing regulation, Rich has earned a reputation as a difficult, aggressive, moral litigator. He is licensed in the states of Colorado, Massachusetts, and Maine.
Rich started his regulation career in a small Boston company. Then in 1993, he joined the Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corp (JAG). While a JAG officer, Rich furnished legal help to squaddies and their dependents. He also represented Evans Army Community Hospital in cases concerning scientific malpractice. However, for most of his army profession, Rich turned into a tribulation counsel and senior trial recommend.
After a successful profession in the Army, he joined the 18th Judicial District Lawyer’s Office in Arapahoe and Douglas counties. There, Rich attempted instances involving driving underneath the influence of alcohol/tablets and domestic violence.
In 1999, Rich and Wayne Anderson formed Anderson & Travis. Since then, Rich has represented customers in family law. Over the years, he evolved an information in excessive warfare divorce. Rich has also effectively defended infantrymen in courts-martial and represented clients who have been injured both via a collision, professional negligence, or unsafe conditions. Richard’s core belief is that private injury instances aren't just about money, they're approximately supporting clients get better.
Since Wayne s retirement in June 2017, Rich is taking the corporation forward as Travis Law Group, to preserve serving the clients which have come to depend upon his understanding and overall performance as a stellar litigator.
Rich is also a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, the Inns of Court, and is the Chairman Select of the El Paso County Family Law Bar. He and his circle of relatives stay in Colorado Springs. He is an avid skier, mountain bike rider, and GS adventure rider.
