Ray Hogge is the founding member of Hogge Law.
Labor and employment law is the focal point of Ray s regulation practice. Since 1989 Ray has represented public and private employers throughout Virginia in employment-related litigation, mediation, and administrative court cases, and has cautioned and represented them in all factors of labor and employment law, consisting of hiring, firing, discharge, area, personnel regulations, human resource control, place of business investigations, employment contracts, noncompete agreements, equal opportunity in employment, salary and hour laws, executive compensation, employee blessings, people’ repayment, place of work safety, and employment danger control.
Ray is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and the University of Richmond School of Law, wherein he served as Lead Articles Editor of University of Richmond Law Review and changed into admitted to the Phi Delta Phi National Honor Society. He has served as chairperson of the Employment Law Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Lawyers and chairperson of the Personnel Section of the International Municipal Lawyers Association. He is an active member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Bar Association, the Virginia Association of Defense Lawyers, the American Bar Association (Employment Law Section, Litigation Section), the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association, the Hampton Roads Society for Human Resource Management, and the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. He is a common speaker on exertions and employment regulation problems, and his writings were published in journals inclusive of the International Municipal Lawyers Association’s Municipal Lawyer and the Virginia Association of Defense Lawyers’ Journal of Civil Litigation.
Ray is a native of Hampton Roads, and is living in Norfolk along with his wife of over twenty years and their 3 children. He is a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Norfolk, Virginia.
