Chauvin Kean is an accomplice within the New Orleans workplace of Kean Miller. He joined the firm in 2015 and practices in a lot of areas, along with the enterprise and company companies. He has experience with in a number of issues, which includes Jones Act compliance, oil and gas exploration, pipeline construction, drilling incidents, properly blowouts, cargo harm claims, ship and barge allisions, maritime liens, vessel and marine asset acquisitions, redhibition claims, lemon legal guidelines claims; drafting and negotiating constitution agreements; documenting and registering vessels; drafting and deciphering oil and gasoline related documentation together with: accumulating and processing agreements; hydrocarbon transportation agreements; floor and mineral rentals; joint operating agreements; joint undertaking agreements; master provider agreements; entity formation; negotiation and deal structuring; and standard commercial and agreement disputes.
Chauvin earned his B.A. in Political Science from Millsaps College in 2010 and his M.B.A. from Else School of Management Millsaps College in 2011. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2015, in which he become Managing Editor of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law. He also participated within the Loyola Moot Court Program and became an oralist for the 2013-14 Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Team.
