Philip Crawford graduated Magna Cum Laude from Santa Clara University School of regulation. Philip has practiced in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties for the past 33 years. His practice consists of Family regulation, Juvenile regulation, Education Law, and Labor regulation.
Philip is a former Police Officer, Police Sergeant at San Jose Police Department. He is the founding lawyer and former leader suggest for the Santa Clara County Correctional Officers Union. He has served as Chief Negotiator for public employee unions in negotiations and has dealt with loads of internal affairs investigations for police and correctional officials.
Philip become the director of Dependency Mediation for Contra Costa and Santa Cruz Superior Courts. He become also Director of Family Court Services and investigations, in addition to the Deputy Court Executive Officer for Contra Costa Superior Court.
Philip was appointed to the Family and Juvenile Advisory Committee of the California Judicial Council by Supreme Court Chief Justice Ronald George. Philip performed severa Judicial education seminars in domestic violence and juvenile justice.
Philip is an Emeritus Professor at San Jose City College in which he has taught for over 40 years. Philip is the college champion for pathway to law faculty students and teaches regulation courses.
