Philip Coleman Lawson became born in Pineville, Bell County, Kentucky, the son of two legal professionals. He attended Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. After graduating from Centre, Philip enrolled on the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law. While at UofL, Philip turned into an lively member of the Moot Court Board and UofL’s Kentucky Intrastate Mock Trial Team. Philip also clerked for mid-size firm in Louisville, Kentucky and for former Chief Judge Hon. Sara W. Combs of the Kentucky Court of Appeals in Frankfort, Kentucky.
After regulation college, Philip moved to Frankfort to became a Trial Lawyer with the Department of Public Advocacy within the Frankfort, Kentucky office. As a Trial Lawyer, Philip represented loads of clients in over a thousand instances ranging from minor visitors infractions and DUI’s in District Court to serious felonies in Circuit Court.
After two years as a public defender, Philip joined a massive statewide firm in Lexington, Kentucky wherein he endured to practice drastically in kingdom law criminal protection. However, he also extended his practice place to encompass coverage defense, wherein he represented insureds of severa country wide coverage groups regarding car damage litigation, trucking litigation, slip and fall, merchandise legal responsibility, construction illness, and plenty of other varieties of claims. Additionally, Philip further multiplied his exercise to federal criminal protection, non-public injury, circle of relatives law, and complex civil litigation which include actual estate litigation, enterprise litigation, and administrative litigation.
Additionally, he represented severa people and groups entangled in criminal investigations.
In 2017, Philip joined True Guarnieri Ayer, LLP in Frankfort, Kentucky. Philip continues to symbolize customers in state regulation criminal defense, federal criminal protection, personal harm, family regulation, and complex civil litigation in Frankfort, Kentucky and at some point of the Commonwealth.
