Mr. Bonamo received his Juris Doctor diploma from Stetson University College of law in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1995. While in regulation faculty, Mr. Bonamo become considerably involved in Stetson’s trial practice and health center packages. Prior to attending Stetson University, he received his Bachelor of Arts diploma, with honors, from the University of Florida in 1992. Due to Mr. Bonamo’s instructional achievement whilst on the University of Florida he was decided on for membership in Phi Beta Kappa countrywide educational honor society. He has been decided on as an Advisor for the Florida Bar s Lawyers Advising Lawyers Program (LAL).
Prior to becoming a member of Rice Law, Mr. Bonamo became a federal prosecutor for the USA Lawyer’s Office, Middle District of Florida. He additionally worked as a kingdom prosecutor, serving eight and one 1/2 years as an Assistant State Lawyer for the State Lawyer’s Office, Seventh Judicial Circuit. During his tenure with the State Lawyer’s Office, Mr. Bonamo handled and tried all varieties of crook matters, together with homicides, career crook prosecution and complicated white-collar/fraud cases. He served as a Supervising Lawyer inside the Felony Trial Division for numerous years. While a kingdom prosecutor, he become additionally an Adjunct Professor at Daytona Beach Community College coaching within the regions of criminal and constitutional law.
Mr. Bonamo is Board Certified as a Criminal Trial Lawyer by means of the Florida Bar. Mr. Bonamo is educated in Collaborative Law for Marital and Family Law cases. Mr. Bonamo is a member of The Collaborative Family Group of Central Florida and also a member of the Florida Association of Collaborative Professionals. He is admitted to exercise in all Florida courts and in 2000 became admitted to the USA District Court, Middle District of Florida. He has acquired membership to exercise earlier than the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, seated in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
