Peter graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1993, where he turned into a Thomas More Scholar and an companion editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. Following graduation, Peter worked for two years as a regulation clerk for the Honorable Edward Warren of the Oregon Court of Appeals. He then joined the law office of Kennedy, King, and Zimmer.
