Trish Weaver is Chair of the Appellate Practice organization and a member of the Litigation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Corporate practices. Over the past two decades, she has dealt with severa appeals, authored briefs and argued before the Maryland Court of Appeals, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She is admitted to, and awaits the risk to argue earlier than, the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to joining Paley Rothman, Trish clerked for the Honorable Howard S. Chasanow on the Maryland Court of Appeals.
Trish enjoys building ongoing relationships along with her customers as their business guide. By expertise their business goals, and gaining knowledge of the dynamics in their organization, Trish remains attuned to the elements that can influence her clients’ selection making. She works to educate her customers at the prison implications of business alternatives, identifies attendant legal costs, and recommends and proposes techniques for engaging in their goals.
In her trial practice, Trish handles a number of cases spanning the civil spectrum, but concentrates on complicated commercial litigation and estate litigation. She has represented customers in lots of settlement and actual property development disputes, sophisticated property litigation matters and a number of employment/business competition instances. In addition to her severa appearances in state and federal trial courts, she has represented physicians, psychologists, and legal professionals before disciplinary boards.
In conjunction with her ADR practice, Trish serves as a mediator by way of court docket appointment and by way of personal engagement. She works tough to preserve her clients out of litigation and to efficaciously mediate complex disputes.
