Ori focuses his practice in all areas of Bankruptcy and Insolvency, as well as State and Federal Receiverships.
Ori represents each secured creditors and borrowers in financial disaster related matters regarding reorganization, distressed assets, asset income, and associated litigation matters.
Prior to joining ECJ, Ori labored at a boutique regulation workplace in Beverly Hills as the Managing Associate Lawyer, in the main managing complicated chapter eleven reorganization matters. In November of 2013, he showed the biggest character chapter 11 reorganization plan within the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, Santa Ana Division.
Ori has been decided on to the Super Lawyers – Southern California Rising Stars List for 2014-2018. From 2015-2017, Super Lawyers diagnosed him as a Top a hundred Up and Coming Lawyer in the Southern California Rising Stars.
Ori served on the Los Angeles County Bar Association Board of Trustee’s as the Barrister Trustee and was Chair of the Barrister’s Networking Committee. Since May of 2014, he has served as a Commissioner at the Human Relations Commission for the City of Beverly Hills. In February of 2015, he turned into elected as Chair of the Human Relations Commission. Ori is currently a member of the Beverly Hills Mayor’s Next Beverly Committee and Beverly Hills Rotary Club.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Ori graduated from UC Berkeley in 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. He obtained his J.D. from The University of West Los Angeles School of Law. While in law faculty, Ori clerked at Bet Tzedek Legal Services, working on illegal detainer cases on behalf of tenants. He currently serves on the Board of Managers for The University of West Los Angeles.
Ori is a graduate of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles’ New Leaders Project, and is a Steering Committee member for the American Friends of the Hebrew University.
Ori has a ardour for Soccer and is a licensed scuba diver. He is fluent in Hebrew.
