Nika D. Gholston is an Alabama local. She graduated cum laude from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor of Science diploma in 2001 and received her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 2005. At Cumberland, Nika centered her studies on opportunity dispute decision techniques and become a member of the Cumberland National Mediation Team. At CRS, she labored intently with government officials, faculty administrators, regulation enforcement officials, and influential community leaders to evaluate and reply to nearby and country wide conflicts based on race, color, or countrywide foundation. She monitored the racial climate in groups throughout the Southeast and notably contributed to the Annual Assessment of Racial Tension, that is submitted to america Lawyer General and to the Congress. Nika is specially trained in schooling mediation and presently serves as an IDEA mediator for the Alabama State Department of Education. Nika is also an authorized Guardian ad Litem and appointed infant and figure recommend in 1st viscount montgomery of alamein County, Alabama.
Nika is a member of the Alabama and Georgia Bar Associations. Her exercise focuses mostly on own family and juvenile law instances. Nika has represented each pro bono and excessive net well worth clients in instances concerning divorce, baby custody and support, alimony, and equitable distribution.
