Lawyer Douglas A. Petho joined the organization in 1993. He is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he earned his Bachelor of Science diploma within the Administration of Criminal Justice in 1988. He earned his regulation degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 1991. Mr. Petho is a native of the Charlotte area.
Mr. Petho started out his trial career as an Assistant District Lawyer for the first Judicial District of North Carolina serving beneath the Hon. H.P. Williams. In that position, Mr. Petho changed into tasked with the prosecution of each misdemeanor and felony expenses in a seven county district of Eastern North Carolina.
Since joining the firm in 1993, legal professional Petho’s number one attention has been the litigation of plaintiff’s private injury fits. He has efficaciously tried masses cases to jury verdict concerning automobile injuries, trucking injuries, pedestrian injuries, slip and fall accidents, animal attacks, intentional torts and paintings associated accidents. In 2011, Mr. Petho carried out an “AV Preeminent” rating by way of Martindale Hubbell, their highest possible rating in each felony capability and ethical standards. He is an energetic member inside the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and a member of both the Personal Injury and Workers Compensation Division. He is a member of the North Carolina Stat Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
Mr. Petho is married with daughters, all of whom are active participants of Saint Matthew Catholic Church.
