Michael V. Kaplen is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University Law School where he teaches the simplest direction within the state dedicated to disturbing mind injury law. Michael is a member of the New York State Traumatic Brain Injury Services Coordinating Council and chaired the council from 2007 to 2013. He is president of the American Academy of Brain Injury Lawyers.

He is a New York Super Lawyer for the closing 12 years and named as one of the pinnacle 100 trial legal professionals in New York State by using the American Association of Trial Lawyers.
