About
Megan is an associate legal professional at Cofer Connelly. She practices criminal and circle of relatives law in Travis and surrounding counties. Megan is a native Austinite and graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. While at UT, Megan’s paintings centered on protecting the civil rights of inclined humans. She represented asylum seekers, survivors of home violence, and youngsters accused of crook offenses.
Megan clerked for the Special Litigation Division on the Public Defender Service, in which she assisted in a wide kind of litigation seeking to shield the rights of crook defendants within the District of Columbia. During her second summer season at UT, she interned at the National Center for Law and Economic Justice, in which she labored on nation-wide litigation to guard the rights of low-income individuals and households.
Megan is at the National Executive Committee of the National Lawyers Guild, the primary racially-integrated bar affiliation inside the United States. She is involved with the Guild’s efforts to provide prison representation to network activists.
