Marshall Schaap was born and raised in Ocala, FL, as had been several generations of his own family before him. He is proud to have graduated from Belleview High School, where he was the beginning tight end for two playoff football groups. He went to the University of Florida on a soccer scholarship. After years at UF, he transferred to the University of Wyoming, wherein he graduated with a business diploma. He then again to Florida for regulation school, attending Stetson University College of Law, in which he met his spouse. They now have high-quality daughters.
