Mark has practiced as a criminal lawyer in Northeast Georgia since 1985. After receiving his JD from the University of Georgia School of Law, he related to Cook, Noell, Tolley and Aldridge, where he became a partner in 1987. In 1997, Mark opened a solo practice in downtown Athens and then relocated to his present day workplace at Resource Valley in 1998. From the start of his practice, Mark has concentrated his trial exercise nearly completely as a criminal attorney and dealing with non-public harm instances. His beyond and gift associations include Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL) (vice chairman); the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), the Western Circuit Bar Association (President), the Oconee Rotary Club (president), Briarwood Baptist Church (deacon), the Oconee Athletic Foundation (board member), the Athens Rifle Club (president), the Clarke County Wildlife Association (vice president), Leadership Oconee, YMCA fundraising, UGA Alumni Association, United Way of Northeast Georgia, and different civic endeavors. Mark is married to Kathy, and they have two grown youngsters, Motie and Laura Slade. Mark and his circle of relatives are energetic individuals of Grace Fellowship Church. › ›
