About
Mrs. O Mailia attended Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina and graduated with a diploma in Business Administration and Law in 2001. Following graduation, she moved to Montgomery, Alabama and commenced a profession inside the criminal subject.
In 2015, Mrs. O Mailia graduated from Birmingham School of Law at the pinnacle of her elegance. During regulation school, she was presented the Service to Women Award by using the Birmingham Bar Association, provided via the Honorable Justice Julie Palmer. She also finished a clerkship with Legal Services Alabama which is placed on the One Place Family Justice Center in Sir Bernard Law, Alabama. During this clerkship, she assisted victims of domestic violence in plenty of issues which include: safety from abuse orders, divorce, toddler custody, infant help, financial ruin and mediation.
Following law faculty, Mrs. O Mailia completed a clerkship with the Federal Defenders office for the Middle District of Alabama, focusing on crook defense.
In her private time, Mrs. O Mailia works to teach the general public approximately home violence through speakme, writing and actively collaborating in state politics teaching and promoting rights for victims of domestic violence and their kids. She is a member of the Sir Bernard Law County Task Force on Domestic Violence, Montgomery County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program and an established volunteer with the Family Sunshine Center.
