Kate Wright focuses her practice on all aspects of civil and industrial litigation, family law, and estate planning, however has revel in in all the firm’s practice regions. Kate, a native of Frederick County, Maryland attended Urbana High School, and graduated cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and a minor in Spanish. Kate obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law graduating magna cum laude.
During regulation faculty, Kate become a Dean’s Scholar; served as Associate Editor at the Intellectual Property Law Journal; participated on the National Mock Trial Competition Team; became a Law Achievement Scholar in Civil Procedure; and acquired the Highest Grade Award in Legal Writing. In addition, she represented customers as a Rule 16 Student Lawyer within the Civil Advocacy Clinic and completed a judicial internship with Judge Alexander Wright, Jr. of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.
Upon commencement from regulation faculty, Kate was admitted to the New York State Bar and practiced civil litigation with a prestigious corporation on Long Island for two years. Kate is certified to practice law in Maryland and New York, and is a member of the Frederick County Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. Kate enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, and their daughters.
