About
Katherine Kole Thompson has been a resident of Harford County for her entire existence. Katie graduated cum laude and as a Scholar of the College from Boston College in 1990 with ranges in biology and psychology. While at Boston College, she competed at the varsity swimming crew and completed the Boston Marathon in 1990. Katie graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1993 and turned into admitted to the Maryland Bar that same yr. While attending regulation faculty complete-time, Katie was a student lawyer representing juvenile offenders, served as companion editor for The Business Lawyer Law Journal, and labored as a regulation clerk for two law workplaces.
After graduating from regulation faculty, Katie labored for three hundred and sixty five days as the law clerk to the Honorable William O. Carr, Administrative Judge of the Circuit Court for Harford County. Katie served at the Board of Directors of the Harford County Bar Foundation 1995-2015 (President from 1998-99). Katie served at the Harford County Bar Association Executive Council from 2004-07. Katie presently serves on the Family Law Advisory Committee and the Bench/Bar Committee for the Harford County Bar Association. In 2015 Katie co-based the Harford County Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association (President 2015-17). Katie is a statewide board member of the Women’s Bar Association (2018 - gift). She is President Elect of the Harford County Bar Association (2018-gift).
