Mrs. Morgan, a native Houstonian, is a graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. She additionally attended South Texas College of Law. Prior to attending law college, Mrs. Morgan attended the University of Houston-Central Campus in which she received her B.A. in English in 2001.
