About
Jon Townsend grew up in Northport, Alabama. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree from Ambridge University. After graduation, Jon attended Freed-Hardman University and graduated with a Master of Ministry degree.
Jon served as a minister and labored for the Churches of Christ in Alabama and Tennessee. In 2011, Jon located his calling in counseling and fighting for the rights of others while he decided to wait law faculty. Soon after, Jon enrolled within the Cumberland School of Law. Jon obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law in 2014. He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in September of 2014. He is likewise admitted to practice earlier than the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, in addition to, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2019, Jon became admitted to exercise within the State of Tennessee.
After being admitted to exercise, Jon became the Vice President & Trust Advisor of Regions Bank of Huntsville, Alabama. Two years later, Jon moved again home to turn out to be a Partner at Cockrell, Cockrell, Townsend & Ritchey, LLP in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Jon’s exercise is mainly focused on civil litigation, appellate, estate, and commercial enterprise planning. He zealously advocates for his customers’ rights in all levels in their case.
