I am a Social Security attorney and own family law mediator. I focus on Social Security disability and Veterans disability instances. I am a member of the Dubuque County Bar Association and the Iowa State Bar Association.
I am an Iowa native. I was born and raised in Farnhamville, Iowa. I attended the University of Northern Iowa in which I graduated magna cum laude and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry. I received a Juris Doctor degree from Creighton University School of Law. I also obtained a Certificate of Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Werner Institute. I even have completed the forty Hour Comprehensive Divorce and Family Mediation Training required for circle of relatives law mediation in the state of Iowa. I am a VA Accredited Lawyer Representative. I am a member of NOSSCR.
My husband and I are the proud recipients of the Excellence in Service Award from Iowa Legal Aid. We obtained this award in recognition of our extraordinary service to low-income Iowans and Iowa Legal Aid.
