Jerry Shiles have become inquisitive about circle of relatives regulation and property and unique wishes planning in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps and while helping a special wishes relative.
Mr. Shiles makes a speciality of property and elder law plan-ning, Medicaid, probate, property litigation, enterprise transactions, and own family law (adoptions, mum or dad-ships). He has lectured at seminars and clinics in Europe, Japan and the U.S. and regularly conducts seminars for lawyers, CPAs, monetary planners, nursing domestic directors, and others.
Mr. Shiles is a Fellow of the American Academy of Estate Planning Lawyers and a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Lawyers, Oklahoma City Tax Lawyers Group, Planned Giving Counsel of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City Estate Planning Council, and the American, Oklahoma, Nevada, District of Columbia and Oklahoma County Bar Associations.
He is a retired Army Colonel with over 33 years of service, active and reserve, in felony and combat fingers positions, which includes 3 tours as a Brigade Commander. His awards consist of the American Bar Association Distinguished Service Award, the Defense Meritorious Civilian Service Award and Legion of Merit, and severa different awards. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Estate Planning Lawyers and has been listed in Who’s Who within the Leadership of the US, Who’s Who of American Lawyers, and Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals. He has been awarded an AV rating by way of Martindale-Hubbell.
Mr. Shiles earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah and finished his beneath-graduate diploma in Business Management, with honors, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also holds a Certificate in Germany from the University of Connecticut, a Masters in Legal Letters from The Army Judge Advocate General’s School, and a Master’s degree in Strategic Planning from the U.S. Army War College.
