About
Jeremiah graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, minoring in Biological Anthropology. While studying at UNM, Jeremiah enlisted within the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and additionally coached his former excessive school’s Speech and Debate Team.
Jeremiah enrolled at California Western School of Law in San Diego, California in June of 2013. As a pupil at CWSL, he have become a member of the school’s Appellate Moot Court Competition Team, collaborating in 3 countrywide-stage competitions and receiving reputation as an remarkable speaker whilst continuing to expand his oral and written advocacy competencies. Jeremiah was additionally energetic as a student ambassador for the school and a member of California Western’s Moot Court Honors Board, and interned with the San Diego County District Lawyer’s Office. Jeremiah moved to Southwest Florida in his very last semester, finishing his studies at the same time as interning with Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner. Jeremiah graduated from California Western in January 2016 with Honors.
Prior to starting regulation college, Jeremiah worked with the Probation and Parole Division of the New Mexico Corrections Department for almost twelve years. As a Probation and Parole Officer, he supervised convicted felons on Probation and Parole in a number of capacities, operating with high-chance offenders and intellectual fitness/high-need offenders. Jeremiah became promoted to supervisor of a high-risk supervision unit, being identified as Supervisor of the Year, before accepting a promotion to grow to be the Divisions’ statewide Training Coordinator for the the rest of his time with the Department.
Jeremiah started as an intern with Associates & Bruce L. Scheiner inside the fall of 2015, finishing his studies at California Western School of Law lengthy-distance in the course of the internship.
