Jeff McFarland received his Juris Doctor diploma, with honors, from the University of Florida. He was the Managing Editor of the University of Florida Law Review and is a member of the Order of the Coif. Mr. McFarland became admitted to the Florida Bar in 1995. He focuses on business and corporate regulation, securities, mergers and acquisitions, undertaking capital and contracts.
Following law school, Mr. McFarland spent 8 years as an lawyer in the company and government finance divisions of Foley & Lardner LLP, first as an partner and then as senior recommend. While at Florida Coastal School of Law, Mr. McFarland became presented the Faculty Vision Award by means of the student body and the Infilaw System Chairman s Award by using the regulation school s Board of Trustees. He has been posted in law journals on the University of Florida, University of California-Hastings, Fordham University and DePaul University.
Mr. McFarland is currently a member of the Technology Committee of the Jacksonville Bar Association and has been the Friday morning host of a two-hour radio application for WJCT s Radio Reading Service for greater than 8 years (and counting).
