James is a recent graduate from Lincoln Memorial University s Duncan School of Law in Knoxville, Tennessee, graduating cum laude. While in law faculty, James served simultaneously as Associate Editor for the Law Review and Vice President of the Moot Court Board. He additionally served as a school studies assistant. He competed in Moot Court competitions, along with the distinguished William B. Spong Moot Court Tournament, held at the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Mr. Lawrence holds a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He additionally lived and studied overseas at St. John s College of Durham University in Durham, England, in which he studied Moral Philosophy, Systematic Theology, and Islamic Studies. James is an active member of the West Park Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, wherein he currently performs french horn as part of the song ministry and has served as a Sunday School Teacher.
