James L. Olmsted is the founder and supervising attorney of OlmstedLAW(formerly Conservation & Preservation Counsel, LLC), a regulation office devoted to representing land trusts, landowners and builders in real property and and conservation easement transactions. Mr. Olmsted acquired B.A. and M.A. stages from the University of Nevada at Reno and his J.D. from the University of California at Davis School of Law (elegance of 1987). During law faculty he interned for Judge Edward C. Reed of america District Court of Nevada. He then clerked for Justice Charles E. Springer on the Nevada Supreme Court. Mr. Olmsted is an energetic member of the California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington state bar institutions (with the aid of exam in each kingdom), is admitted to the US District Courts of Nevada and Oregon and the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Olmsted has been working towards zoning, land use, real property, and conservation easement regulation for twenty-5 years. His experience includes representing both primary luxurious golf and ski motel builders and public hobby advocacy corporations. Mr. Olmsted has given shows on land trusts and conservation easements across the state, and he's broadly published in law evaluations and different scholarly journals.
