About
Mr. Jacob Goad is a people’ repayment and private damage lawyer with Kornbluth Ginsberg Law Group, P.A. Mr. Goad graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill where he majored in Spanish and minored in Social and Economic Justice. At UNC, Mr. Goad earned club in Sigma Delta Pi, a Hispanic Collegiate Honor Society.
After incomes his undergraduate diploma, Mr. Goad lived and labored in Peru, wherein he got involved with environmental advocacy and additionally coordinated worldwide delegations. He observed CNN producers and Dr. Sanjay Gupta to the town of La Oroya wherein Mr. Goad added Dr. Gupta to the citizens of a city located inside the shadow of a big, toxic metallurgical smelter. Mr. Goad attributes his selection to practice people’ reimbursement to his experience of interacting with metallurgical and mine workers in Peru.
After returning from Peru, Mr. Goad graduated from North Carolina Central University’s Evening Law Program for college students pursuing regulation levels even as also protecting complete-time employment. Mr. Goad become already working at this time as a paralegal for NC injury law offices while he attended school at night. While attending law faculty in Durham, Mr. Goad met his spouse, Kelly, who's a speech therapist at a non-public sanatorium in town.
Mr. Goad has committed the majority of his time over the last eleven years to helping human beings who've been significantly injured from workplace accidents and vehicle collisions. He has served on a variety of boards for nonprofit businesses, along with formerly serving as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division for the Durham County Bar Association. Mr. Goad serves as Secretary of the Executive Committees for Urban Ministries of Durham, which provides refuge, services, and meals to the homeless populace of Durham. Additionally, he is the Legislative Committee Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
