Wiley Nickel lives and works in Cary, North Carolina. In 1998, he graduated from Tulane University with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. After university Wiley went to paintings for Al Gore and travelled with the Vice President as part of his countrywide boost group of workers. Following the Gore campaign he earned his law degree from the Pepperdine University School of Law in 2005.
While in regulation college Wiley worked as a law clerk in the Ventura County District Lawyer’s Office wherein he gained valuable criminal trial revel in. His first activity out of law college changed into for the Merced County District Lawyer’s Office in which he labored as a Deputy District Lawyer with a focal point on prosecuting DWI offenders.
Wiley later joined the Law Offices of Joseph Uremovic in which he targeted on civil litigation and circle of relatives law. When the possibility came to enroll in the Obama campaign in 2008 Wiley jumped on the hazard. He spent 3 years traveling with President Obama.
In 2011 Wiley left his work for the White House to go back to the exercise of regulation. Wiley devotes the majority of his practice to the areas of criminal law, expungements, visitors tickets and DMV troubles. Wiley become elected to the North Carolina State Senate in 2018. He represents Cary, Morrisville & NW Raleigh in the State Senate (16th District). He serves on the Agriculture/Environment/Natural Resources Committee, the Pensions and Retirement and Aging Committee and the Appropriations on Education/Higher Education Committee. When he is not working within the General Assembly or for the regulation workplace - he is an avid circle of relatives guy and distance runner.
