R.L. “Ed” Edwards is a graduate of Southern Illinois University, having earned a diploma in Workforce Education and Development cum laude. In December of 2005, Ed completed his legal schooling at Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law receiving a Juris Doctor degree.
Admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006, Ed commenced his personal law office in Hancock County, Mississippi. While inside the solo practice of law from 2006 to 2009, Ed was able to work at refining his abilities within the litigation of private damage claims, home and family regulation problems, and crook defense.
Ed is both a US Navy veteran and a US Army veteran, having served 9 years within the Navy rising to the rank of Electronics’ Technician First Class (E-6). After the continued terror attacks on the US, Ed joined the Mississippi Army National Guard. Ed has spoke back our Nation’s call to serve several instances at some point of his profession. He has deployed to Iraq in aid of Operation New Dawn, and turned into most currently deployed to Camp Beurhing, Kuwait in 2015 with the 185th Theater Aviation Brigade in which he turned into Brigade Trial Counsel. Ed currently holds the rank of Major in the US Army JAG Corps.
