Doug Garner graduated from the University of Cincinnati Law School in 1991 and spent three years as a contract Public Defender in Hamilton County, Ohio. In 1994, he set up a non-public exercise in Dearborn County, Indiana and became a Public Defender in the Dearborn County Superior Court from 1994 via 2001.
Since 2001, Doug has continued his non-public practice focusing on Social Security and crook defense. He additionally represents several non-profit organizations, small organizations, and the Dearborn County Solid Waste Management District. Doug became at the Indiana Public Defender Council Board of Directors from 1996 to 2008 and Chairman from 2006 to 2008. He taught trial capabilities for 5 years at the Indiana Public Defender Trial Practice Institute. He is on the Board of Directors of Heart House, Inc., Board of Directors of LifeTime Resources, and belongs to the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
