Don Zavala has practiced regulation for over 15 years. Prior to becoming a member of the Firm, he practiced law at Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix, Arizona for about 10 years where he targeted on representing businesses in employment regulation topics and standard litigation. At the Firm, his exercise also includes business and real estate regulation. Don has dealt with commercial enterprise and employment law litigation matters within the Ninth Circuit, Tenth Circuit, Eleventh Circuit, Washington, D.C. Court of Appeals and the Arizona Court of Appeals.
Don graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1993. After graduating, Don worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert H. McWilliams at the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in Denver, Colorado earlier than moving to Phoenix.
Don has published dozens of articles on employment and commercial enterprise subjects. He often presents seminars on employment topics, which include: preventing harassment and discrimination, worker–control practices, ADA compliance, FLSA compliance, FMLA Compliance, and drug testing rules.
