Mr. King began his criminal profession with the Sacramento County Public Defender s Office as a California State Bar Certified Law Student. He has defended juveniles in the course of Sacramento County Juvenile Court detention hearings, assisted psychiatric sufferers located on Conservatorship holds, and represented in-custody and out-of-custody customers all through Sacramento Superior Court misdemeanor arraignments. Mr. King twice earned instructional honors for his internship paintings at the Sacramento County Public Defender s Office.
After commencement, Mr. King served as a Law Clerk and Deputy District Lawyer in Del Norte County in which he prosecuted criminal and misdemeanor juvenile cases. As a prosecutor, Mr. King performed approximately fifty juvenile contested hearings, a home violence jury trial, organized, submitted, and frequently argued crook memoranda in Del Norte County Superior Court, and efficiently negotiated multiple plea deals with protection recommend.
