I actually have over nineteen years of enjoy litigating complicated criminal subjects. As a member legal professional at Whitfield & Eddy Law, I currently recognition my exercise on litigating family law subjects, inclusive of dissolution of marriage, custody, spousal support, home abuse, grandparent guardianship and termination of parental rights instances. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management with honors from Baylor University in 1996. In 1999, I graduated from Drake University Law School. Shortly after commencement I moved to Dallas and become admitted to the Texas bar. I worked as an Assistant District Lawyer with the Dallas County District Lawyer’s Office prosecuting domestic abuse, running a motor automobile at the same time as intoxicated, assault, robbery and felony narcotics instances until 2003 once I left to emerge as a solo practitioner and focus my exercise on own family law subjects within the Juvenile and Family Law Courts. I moved back to Iowa and joined Iowa Legal Aid in 2008 as a staff legal professional. I represented victims of domestic violence as part of the Women’s Equal Justice Project and the Violence Against Women’s Act legal professional for the duration of my time at Iowa Legal Aid. It is an honor to practice law and help my clients navigate via extremely tough occasions.
