Dan is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications and minors in Mathematics and Political Science.
Dan is a 1979 graduate of IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law incomes a Juris Doctor diploma and a Bar and Gavel Award. Dan become admitted to the bar in 1979 and has been a working towards attorney in Naperville ever due to the fact.
Dan is a member of the Illinois and Dupage County Bar institutions. He is a modern member of the DuPage County Real Estate Law Committee and the Trusts and Estate Planning Committee. His practice concentrates on Residential and Commercial Real Estate, Trusts, Wills, Probate and Small to Medium Corporations.
He is presently a 3 time period board member of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, and became instrumental in the drafting and overview of the Multi-Board Contract currently in use.
Dan has served the Naperville Community via participation in many community agencies. He has served as an officer or board member of Little Friends, Inc., the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Samaritan Interfaith Counseling Center, the Naperville Cemetery Association, YMCA Endowment Committee and the Naperville Noon Kiwanis Club.
He lives in Naperville along with his wife Debbie (who's also a lawyer and has been acknowledged to cowl closings for him every now and then). He has three boys, the youngest of that is attorney Chris Collander.
He is an avid White Sox fan and could instead be golfing.
