Corey founded MacKinnon Law with the idea of imparting McDowell County citizens with legal illustration and customer service commonly best available in bigger markets. Corey served almost 10 years as a police officer with the UNC Charlotte Police Department and Mooresville Police Department prior to and during regulation college. As a police officer, Corey become a street officer, a field schooling officer, a SWAT/SERT has membership, and then a Detective. During law college Corey took internships with the Recording Industry Association of America, the Iredell County District Lawyer s Office, and the US Lawyer s Office of the Western District of North Carolina. After law faculty, Corey took a role with america Army as a Judge Advocate and served at Fort Benning, Georgia. He stays within the US Army Reserve Corps. In the Army, Corey served as military prosecutor and then as a Special Assistant United States Lawyer, prosecuting crimes dedicated by civilians on put up and all traffic instances. In the ones roles, Corey prosecuted greater than 20 criminal instances from drug offenses to sexual crimes against children. After being far from McDowell County for more than 12 years, Corey is satisfied to go back to the city in which he belongs. Corey, and his wife, are living in Nebo and have two kids and IzzyBelle, an English bulldog. › ›
