Chris is the founding companion and fundamental of Vaughn-Martel Law.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to founding Vaughn-Martel Law in 2006, Chris worked as a Clerk and First Year Associate for a small actual estate firm on Boston s South Shore.

Chris is currently admitted to practice inside the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

He is an active member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, as well as the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association. He serves as a non-public pro bono attorney in reference to the Rape Survivors Law Project at Boston s Victim Rights Law Center, providing legal illustration for victims of sexual assault in privacy, safety, housing, schooling, employment, and financial compensation matters.

Chris changed into named a Rising Star through Boston Magazine in its 2009 listing of Super Lawyers.

Chris lives within the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston with his husband, Brian, and their Springer Spaniel, Charlie.
