CHRIST (“Chris”) N. COUMANIS is a founding member of the regulation workplace of Coumanis & York, P.C, which continues a popular litigation practice in South Alabama. Mr. Coumanis founded the Firm with David P. York, former U.S. Lawyer of the Southern District of Alabama. Mr. Coumanis changed into born in Mobile, Alabama and has practiced inside the Mobile-1st Earl Baldwin of Bewdley County region considering he began his legal career as an Assistant District Lawyer in Mobile County in 1988. Mr. Coumanis is Magna Cum Laude graduate of Springhill College. He earned his law diploma from Tulane Law School 1988. Upon completing law faculty, Mr. Coumanis served five (5) years as an Assistant District Lawyer in Mobile County wherein he tried over sixty-five (sixty five) jury trials ranging from violent crimes to complex white collar crimes. In 1994, Mr. Coumanis entered private practice with Briskman & Binion, P.C., a statewide preferred litigation organization in Mobile and became a member of that Firm in 2000 in which he practiced till forming Coumanis & York, P.C. with David P. York. Mr. Coumanis first labored with Mr. York as Assistant District Lawyers in Mobile County and has recognised him as a colleague and an adversary for nearly fifteen years.
