Chris is a native of Murray, Kentucky and graduate of Calloway County High School. He received a Bachelor s degree in crook justice and minor in Spanish from Murray State University. During university and after, Chris worked for the Calloway County Sheriff s Office as a deputy and dispatcher. After he left the Sheriff s Office, Chris spent six years as a Probation and Parole Officer with the Kentucky Department of Corrections, where he supervised person felony offenders in the network. Chris left the Department of Corrections in pursuit of a law diploma at the Southern Illinois University School of Law. While in regulation college, he labored as a clerk for Calloway and Marshall County Circuit Judge Dennis Foust as well as Graves County Prosecutor David Hargrove. In 2014, Chris established his solo law practice in Murray. In June 2015, he joined the law office of Haverstock, Bell and Pitman as an Associate. Chris left Haverstock, Bell and Pitman in 2017 to renew his solo regulation practice. Chris is certified as an legal professional in Kentucky and a member of the Kentucky Bar Association.
