About
Chad A. Baker graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2012, in which he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. With his Management Degree, Chad went on to paintings at Jimmy John’s franchise headquarters located in Champaign Illinois. There he helped educate new Jimmy John’s Franchise proprietors and Managers the way to efficiently function the day after day operations of a Jimmy Johns.
Chad went directly to obtain his law degree from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2019. While at Northern Illinois University, Chad completed the twin degree application which earned him a Law Degree and a Masters of Business Administration. While in Law School, Chad become provided the Clover Family Award for his accomplishments for reaching the most Pro Bono hours in his law college elegance and turned into also named to the Dean’s List. Chad volunteered at Kane County Public Defender’s Office as a 711 licensed student and at Norfolk County District Lawyer’s Office as a 303 certified student.
After commencement from Law School, Chad well-known a role on the City of Rockford’s Legal Department as an Assistant City Lawyer. While there, Chad suggested the Code and Regulations Committee of the City Council, the Zoning Board of Appeals, the Community Relations Committee, and the Liquor Advisory Board. Chad prosecuted Building, Zoning, Sanitation, and General Ordinance violations. He dealt with City Foreclosures, Demolition, Small Claims, and Petitions for Administrative Review. Chad cautioned the Rockford Police Department and Neighborhood Standards divisions in regard to trouble homes.
While attending law school, Chad also labored as a Graduate Assistant in the Management Department for 2 years. Chad now works component-time as an Adjunct Professor in the Management Department where he lectures at the Legal Environment in Business.
