Carissa whizzed thru law school in only 2-half years. She attended Hamline University School of Law in her home kingdom of Minnesota for 1-1/2 years after which finished her law schooling as a “touring scholar” at Arizona State University School of Law. Her status as an overachiever began long before regulation college, though. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Justice Studies and a minor in psychology. She received the CALI award for excellence in Torts II in law faculty, become a recipient of a Richard P. Erickson Scholarship, become on the Dean’s List each semester of college and law school, and became a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. But don’t assume Carissa is “Miss Studious” and no fun. She taught ballroom dancing for a few months and auditioned to be on TV’s The Bachelor. How’s that for a nicely-rounded heritage? Carissa is also athletic. She enjoys volleyball, softball, dust-runs and 5K runs, trekking, and snowboarding. She likes to journey as nicely and is an avid sports activities fan. Her groups are the Arizona Cardinals, Arizona State University Sun Devils, and Minnesota Twins. She attends one “away” Cardinals sport every 12 months in order that she will enjoy other NFL stadiums and the other groups’ neighborhood customs.
