Blaine graduated from Carrollton High School and then attended Vanderbilt University ( ninety to 92), before moving to The University of Georgia, where he obtained a BA in history, magna cum laude, in 1994. At UGA he became Phi Beta Kappa and a Presidential Scholar (retaining a 4.0 GPA even as at UGA). He obtained his JD from The University of Georgia School of Law, magna cum laude in 1997. In regulation school, he was a member of the mock trial board and gained 4 first vicinity trial awards, which includes the country wide championship (ATLA) in Denver, CO. He become Order of the Coif (teachers), Order of the Barristers (advocacy), president of the Christian Legal Society, voted by using his classmates to acquire the William King Meadow Award at commencement. He commenced his regulation exercise at Alston & Bird in Atlanta and back to Athens as a prosecutor to elevate his family inside the city he grew to love at the same time as attending UGA.As a prosecutor, he attempted numerous jury trials earlier than returning to personal exercise in August 2000. He focuses on personal injury litigation, vehicle, truck, and motorcycle accidents, and other injury cases. Blaine s past or gift associations include the Georgia Bar Association; the Western Judicial Circuit Bar Association (Board of Governors 2007-2008; President 2011-2012); American Association of Justice; Georgia Trial Lawyers Association; and, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
